ABOUT THE VC RUN
We are excited to announce the 5th edition of the Strathmore University Vice Chancellor’s Run, an initiative to support scholarships. Mark this date – May 31st, 2025!
WHY DO WE RUN?
We are dedicated to offering high-quality education to bright students from financially disadvantaged backgrounds. Through collaborations with industry partners, generous donors, the SU community of staff, students, and alumni, have availed over KES 1 billion in scholarships over the past two decades. Currently, about 15% of our undergraduates receive financial assistance, and with your support, we aim to increase this to 25%.
We invite you to join this cause, a true reflection of our core value of service to society, as we work together to raise funds for scholarships that will help make Strathmore University a need-blind institution.

REGISTRATION :

VC Run 2024
Program
- 6:30AM – Arrival & Registration (Strathmore Sports Complex)
- 6:30AM – 6:55AM – Warm up & Briefing
- 7:00AM – Flag Off
- 10:00AM – Finish Point
- 10:00AM – 10:15AM – Stretching
- 10:15AM – 10:30AM – Cake Cutting, Awarding ceremony & Photo session
- 10:30AM – 12:00 noon – Music and dance celebration
Events Guidelines
Water Points
- Water Point 1: Strathmore University Sports Complex
- Water Point 2: Under the Lang’ata Primary footbridge
- Water Point 3: Carnivore footbridge (left side)
- Water Point 4: Opposite Africa Gospel church Kenya.
T-shirts
T-shirt distribution will take place at the Strathmore University Communications Office located on the first floor of the student center.
- The office operates from Monday to Friday, between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.
- T-shirt distribution closes on Friday, 30th May.
